🚀Research Exchanges at the University of Amsterdam

From October 12 to October 22, three PhD candidates from the COIN-3D project, Maria Pantazi-Kypraiou, Foteini Oikonomou, and Pavlos Stoikos visited the University of Amsterdam (UvA) for a research exchange with the Parallel Computing Systems (PCS) group. During their stay, they worked closely with Assistant Professor Anuj Pathania and Dr. Yixian Shen on topics including system-level reliability analysis, advanced scheduling techniques, low-power hardware–software co-design, and AI/ML-based energy and thermal prediction. The exchange strengthened collaboration and supported progress toward more reliable and energy-efficient manycore systems.
Overall, the visit strengthened ties between the COIN-3D consortium and the University of Amsterdam, supporting cutting-edge research and opening new pathways for future collaboration. The joint efforts of the three PhD candidates and the PCS group underscore the value of interdisciplinary exchanges in pushing the boundaries of next-generation system design.
